Learn About Chatham Key Club
CHS KEY CLUB
The Key Club is a branch of Kiwanis International, an organization dedicated to community service. Every year, many students from Chatham High School participate in this club by doing volunteer work at school, in the community, and outside the community. All students involved in the CHS Key Club have a minimum of 36 volunteer hours every year. |
ANNUAL OUTREACH PROGRAM
The Outreach Program is a meal-packing event involving CHS Key Club members, Kiwanis members, and other Chatham residents. Fundraisers held by the CHS Key Club make this event possible. The April 2018 event produced 50,000 meals that were given to families in need in the New Jersey area. This year, the goal is to make 25,000 meals and a $10,000 donation to benefit local food banks. |
FUNDRAISERS
Fundraising is very important to the CHS Key Club's ability to do community service. In order to fund the Outreach Program, this year's fundraisers include a car wash, holiday cookie sale, Luminaria sales, gift-wrapping at local businesses, snow removal, Dunkin’ Donuts Sale, a bake sale at the Chatham Fishawack Festival, and much more! Every donation helps! |
